My story…
I’m Cyndi Lynne, Integrative Life Coach, Mentor, Nurse, Teacher and Writer. After 20+ years of helping women heal from injuries, surgery, and chronic illness, I was stunned to realize that I was no longer able to lose the extra pounds I’d pick up over the holidays. My energy wouldn’t bounce back after a couple of late nights or travel. My body no longer responded to exercise, even when I was really trying. I knew that I wasn’t 20 anymore, or even 30, but it had to be something else besides age.
I researched and studied and joined programs only to be disappointed and frustrated at my inability to “figure it out”. I watched my weight and blood sugar levels continue to rise even while I was “doing everything right”. As a nurse, personal trainer, yoga and Pilates instructor, I was embarrassed to be gaining weight and didn’t’ want anyone to know how unhealthy I had become. I continued to beat myself up for not having the answers, but the real problem was too many “answers”, many of them conflicting.
It wasn’t until I shifted my focus from losing weight to getting really healthy that I finally connected with the experts and information I needed. I chose to put myself and my health first. I also gave myself permission to be super picky. I chose the very best of healing foods, functional movement, innovative stress management and meaningful everyday practices to develop my optimal health formula.
